Mahindra Xylo ranked No.1 MUV/SUV in HT-Mars Customer Satisfaction Survey 2011
Featured at No.6 amongst top 10 cars, across segments
Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M Ltd.), a part of the US $12.5 billion Mahindra Group, today announced that one of India’s most popular MPVs (multipurpose vehicles), the Xylo, has been ranked No. 1 in the MUV/SUV category as per the HT – Mars Customer Satisfaction Survey 2011. The survey recognizes the Xylo as a proven hit in terms of “sales and customer satisfaction”. Further, amongst cars across all segments, Mahindra Xylo featured at the 6th position, ahead of its immediate competitor, in total satisfaction.
With high customer satisfaction scores, the Xylo was a new entrant in this year’s top 10 cars, having moved up the pyramid significantly. Notably, the Xylo scored high in key parameters such as Engine, interior design & comfort, seats, low cost of ownership etc. Packed with new technology features, class leading comfort and a low running and maintenance cost, the Xylo scored significantly higher than its nearest competitors.

Mr. Nayer further added, “Having set new benchmarks in offering luxurious space & comfort and a whole host of attractive features, the Xylo has been an unmitigated success since its launch in 2009.  Going forward we will certainly plan towards bringing some product upgrades and new offerings to keep our customers happy.  
The second edition of HT-MARS car satisfaction survey was conducted amongst the car owners across Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Lucknow and Ahemdabad. It ranks cars according to owner’s experiences to find out which is best for Indian roads. Infact it is a benchmark for all brands in its respective segments. This quantitative research was conducted amongst 3817 respondents. The technique used was face to face interviews using structured questionnaire with the owners of 46 car and SUV/MUV brands across 8 major towns and business centers in India. Further, 9 dimensions and 36 attributes were considered in assessing the performance of the vehicle.
