Champak surprised by fans during the shoot of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah chasmah 

Champak & Jethalal had a fielding day on the sets of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah.They were daunted by visitors who kept sympathizing with them throughout the day. In the show Champak (Jetha’s father) sees a guy littering the streets and ends up scolding him. Next day the gokuldham society has posters stuck all over with a picture of Champak. The posters claim that Champak is a mentally unstable man and should be brought back home by anyone who spots him. It also announces a prize of Rs 10,000 for the person who brings him back. Now whenever Champak steps out of the house there is a mad rush amongst people to bring him back and a lot of chaos follows thereafter. People nearly abduct Champak and return him to Jetha and then want Rs 10,000 for their good deed. Jetha is stuck in a spot.  

While this sequence was going on the visitors in an around the sets read the posters and noticed Champaklal in the vicinity. Unaware of the shooting they kept sympathizing and tried helping the actor.  

Champak was left aghast with the concern and care showered upon them by locals. But, he was too tired to reciprocate to people’s queries. Champak aka Amit Bhatt said that, “I had very many people coming up to me and empathizing with me. I was astonished at first and then realized that they read the posters and were trying to help me. There simplicity and helpful nature touched a chord in my heart.”He finally felt a sigh of relief when the sequence got over and rushed immediately to get the posters removed from shoot location.
