Senior citizens have shown interest in Day Care Centre

Indore: 09 January 2012: Day Care Centre, which has recently been started in east Indore, is witnessing interest of senior citizens of the region. The centre was inaugurated on 21st December in presence of a good number of senior citizens , and  most of them are found regular in attending centre’s activities. A few were seen anxious to learn computer operation and were found pressing  key boards of computer to understand the miracle. Centre is providing various facilities to the honorable seniors so that they may engage themselves therein and may come out of the possible problems of the growing age

Day Care Centre is situated at 148 B Mahadev Totla Nagar,  Ring road, Indore. The centre is opened to assemble senior citizens of the area to involve in various activities  during day time . The facilities comprise of library, computers, games and measures of entertainments. The centre is a recent chapter of being responsibe, a social organization of the city committed to offer maximum possible social services to the society. Being responsible runs the following social activities:

• Assistance to poor girls  by bearing  expenses on school fee, books, stationeries, uniforms etc. At present 26 girls have been adopted of two schools of the city.

• Providing groceries to poor senior citizens

• Arranging of free medical camps in schools and slum areas

• Providing water pots (Sakora)  and grains to citizens so that birds may eat and drink milk in hot season at terraces, balconies of houses

• Planting  of trees  on road sides

The senior citizens of the city may join Day Care Centre , which is open for them between 3.30 to 5 pm every day.
