~BIG MAGIC viewers in for a devotional treat~

Lucknow: BIG Bal Kalakaar, the first ever soul stirring Devotional Singing Reality TV show, for children  presented by BIG MAGIC and 92.7 BIG FM, has rocked MP, UP, Bihar & Jharkhand, with the prowess of young children delightfully mesmerizing the viewers. The Gala episodes this week, February 11 & 12, Saturday & Sunday is a Sufi Bhajan Special episode. And a Sufi special episode is incomplete without the presence of the most popular guru of Sufi music, Kailash Kher. One of the most loved Indian artists internationally, who is most respected for his modest and inspiring lifestyle and earthy voice, makes a remarkable entry into the stage singing “Oh Rangeley…” from his Sufi album Rangeley. The 12 finalists of BIG Bal Kalakaar danced to the tune of Rangeley…entertaining everyone.

In this joyful environment Prajakta declares that this will be the first Elimination week and the top performers of this week will go directly to Suraksha Chakra. The bottom three will go to ‘Tapasya Chakra’ where they have to perform once more to prove their talent.

Amidst high drama Rajesh Dubey opened the week 2 performances with “Khusroo dariya prem ka, ulti wa ki dhaar, jo utra so doob gaya, jo dooba so paar…” a Sufi kalam by Amir Khusroo. Then participant Radhika was so moved by her song that she broke down after her performance.

Watching all the excitement from Swarg Lok was Bal Narad, who makes his appearance on the show. Bal Narad, has been enjoying the show but  when he sees his little participants under pressure, especially those in Tapasya Chakra, he comes down to cheer them.

The special Sufi episode will simply have viewers asking for more and glued to their seats. What’s rather sad is the elimination that begins from this episode.
